Fulton County is calling on aspiring young leaders to step into impactful roles as Youth Commissioners for the 2025-26 academic year. This program is a unique opportunity for high school students in grades 9 through 11 to lead change and make a difference in their community. As a Youth Commissioner, students will volunteer significant hours each month, engaging in planning meetings, community projects, and serving as youth liaisons. This experience not only enhances leadership skills but also gives students a platform to communicate pressing youth issues to local government. Our community thrives when we empower our youth to lead with purpose and vision.
Interested students must be residents of Fulton County, attend a local school, and submit a completed application along with a two-page essay by Friday, May 23, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. For more details or to apply, visit www.fultoncountyga.gov/fcyc or contact Reginald Crossley, Youth Commission Coordinator, at Reginald.Crossley@fultoncountyga.gov.
