The roots of community engagement grew stronger in Atlanta as dedicated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the CoSF Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Georgia Tech students, and neighborhood volunteers joined forces to plant trees at Sandtown Park. With guidance from Trees Atlanta, this effort marks a significant step toward enhancing our urban forest, reflecting the commitment to a sustainable and greener future. By planting trees, participants contributed to the conservation of Atlanta’s natural environment, ensuring cleaner air and a healthier community for all to enjoy.
Be part of future events and contribute to environmental stewardship. Stay connected with Trees Atlanta for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
