Business Connect Event

On April 28, 2025, the city of College Park thrived with innovation and collaboration during its third Business Connect event of the year, hosted by Mayor Pro Tem Jamelle McKenzie. This dynamic gathering welcomed influential guest speakers such as Economic Development Consultant and BIDA Executive Director Brian Hooker, Main Street Manager Ginger Melton, Destination College Park President Karen Jeremie, and Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington. It was a day enriched by networking opportunities with business owners, Ignite Resource Center staff, UAFAH leadership, Lift Every Vote and Rise representatives, and regional entrepreneurs.

Special recognition goes to Code 44 for hosting, and heartfelt gratitude to the Ward 1 Dream Team—Olivia Dorsey, Pam Grier, Jakeem Smith, Jamila Thompson, Terico Harper, and Holly Rodriguez—whose dedication made this event possible. Join the movement towards a brighter future as we continue #buildingcollegeparkbetter.
