### Esteemed Veteran Recognition in Roswell
In every Mayor and City Council Meeting, the City of Roswell honors a local hero through their “Esteemed Veteran of Roswell” program.
To date, they have recognized over 75 remarkable Veterans, each representing courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. Every honored Veteran receives an official proclamation from the City of Roswell and is celebrated with a special presentation by Mayor Kurt Wilson and the City Council during a public meeting at Roswell City Hall.
They invite the community to nominate a Roswell resident who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Nominations can be submitted via email at communications@roswellgov.com.
