🎆 Red, White, and BOOM! Celebrate America’s birthday at the City’s Independence Day Celebration on July 3 at 6 p.m. at Newtown Park.
Parking options include ADA accessible spots near the dog park and general parking throughout the venue. Overflow parking is available at Mount Pisgah Christian School across from the park on Brumbelow Road. Arrive early to secure a spot!
The fireworks show kicks off at approximately 9:15 p.m. Please note that personal fireworks, including sparklers, are not permitted, and drones are also prohibited.
With temperatures expected to exceed 90 degrees, staying cool and hydrated is essential. Water bottle filling stations are located near the park’s restrooms. For any weather updates, follow the City’s social media channels and website.
Enjoy a variety of food trucks on-site, offering tasty treats and beverages. Featured trucks include: A Little Nauti Food Truck, Burger 21 Mobile, Super Taco, The Bento Bus, Big House BBQ ATL, Dragon Cupbop, Fair On Wheels, Viva Pita Food Truck, King of Pops, Kona Ice, Dreaming Sweets, and Simply Done Donuts.
Don’t forget to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating—pop-up tents are not allowed. Entertainment will feature the Hot Flash Band, with activities for kids to enjoy.
