Downtowns are the heart of every great city—and this past week, we took a powerful step to invest in ours. I was proud to join Mayor Dickens, Council member Dozier & Invest Atlanta to break ground on Folio House, the former Atlanta Constitution printing building. Now, this historic site will be transformed into 200 affordable homes and space for local entrepreneurs. This building once helped tell Atlanta’s story to the world—now, it’ll help shape a new chapter rooted in equity, access, and opportunity.

Downtowns serve as the heart of every remarkable city. Recently, a significant investment was made in Atlanta’s downtown area.

According to the article, Mayor Dickens, Council member Dozier, and Invest Atlanta have come together to break ground on Folio House, the historic site of the former Atlanta Constitution printing building. This site is set to be transformed into 200 affordable homes and dedicated space for local entrepreneurs.
