Women’s History Month Celebration

This Women’s History Month, Council member Andrea Boone collaborated with Tiara LaRae Johnson, Media Girls Network, and Girl Boss Suites to honor over 200 attendees at Atlanta City Hall.

Under the theme “Women Making History,” the event showcased the achievements of women across various fields, including academia, business, government, and entertainment. The day was filled with motivation, talent, and recognition of exceptional leaders like Heiress Harris, Judge Ardra Bey, and Reverend Africa McCladdie, among others.

They report that since 1987, the month of March has been officially recognized in the United States as an annual celebration of the achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of the women who built America.
