The event drew original members of the Atlanta Student Movement, alongside Morehouse College faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders, highlighting the importance of remembering pivotal locations in history. This historic marker is part of the Atlanta Student Movement Trail, an initiative led by Council member Michael Julian Bond, aiming to honor key events and figures from this vital period in our history.
