🚧 Traffic & Safety Update: I-85 & SR 74 (Senoia Road)

I want to share an important update from GDOT regarding the I-85 at SR 74/Senoia Road Interchange Improvement Project here in Fulton County.

This major infrastructure investment—an $81 million project—is designed to reduce traffic congestion, improve safety, and support long-term growth in our community.

✅ What’s happening now:
• Utility relocations are underway
• Bridge construction continues with concrete work in progress
• Drainage and waterline improvements are nearing completion

🛣️ What to expect next (through early 2026):
• Continued utility relocations
• Bridge beams and end walls installed early next year
• Grading and road widening work beginning in early 2026
• Ongoing traffic shifts on I-85 and SR 74 eastbound
