As winter sets in, it’s an especially good time to get cozy spending time with loved ones and enjoying — in various ways — sweet treats.
You and your little one can do both at Karen B. Cakes upcoming “Parent and Me” cupcake decorating classes. Every pair (one being age 5-to-12, the other being an adult) will get a batch of cupcakes, frosting and fondant, as well as needed supplies.
Karen Bates, the City’s program partner and baker extraordinaire, will lead the hour-long classes at Milton City Park and Preserve’s Community Center. There are two happening on Saturday mornings coming up, each with an apt theme:
• JANUARY 17 – Winter Wonderland
• FEBRUARY 14 – Valentine’s Love
