Construction is underway at Mimosa Hall, the future site of a unique outdoor event space at the heart of Roswell’s Founders Park—a project designed to connect our City’s historic treasures through beautiful, walkable green space.
We’re proud to share that three significant specimen trees (including two Black Walnuts and one Tulip Poplar) have been preserved thanks to thoughtful design modifications made during construction planning. One of those trees, Tree #1691, has become a focal point for community interest and will remain an integral part of the new landscape design.
This project is part of the city’s broader commitment to honoring and protecting our cultural heritage. In just the last four years, Roswell has invested over $17 million in historic preservation, from acquiring landmark properties to restoring original architectural elements. That investment is visible not only at Mimosa Hall but across the city’s historic corridor.
At its core, Founders Park is about connecting Roswell’s past to its future—creating beautiful, accessible spaces where community and history meet.
