This facility stands as a beacon of hope and quality care amidst the health inequities facing Fulton County. Named after the remarkable educator and social worker, Sadie G. Mays, who was also the wife of Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mays, the center’s legacy of compassion and excellence is truly inspiring. Reflecting on my personal connection to this place, as it was once a refuge where my father received care, made the moment even more poignant. Celebrating the enduring impact of this facility was an honor, and I carry forward both the history and the hope this center represents.
