Harvest Day: Experience Urban Farming!
Fall is here, and it’s time to celebrate the harvest! According to the article, Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr. is inviting the community to engage in urban farming at aGROWKulture Farm.
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, attendees can register for a time slot to join the festivities from noon to 3 p.m.
This event will feature fresh produce available for purchase directly from the farm. Additionally, future farmers will have the opportunity to meet Kendall Rae Johnson, the youngest USDA Certified Farmer, during a book signing of her work, “The Growing Places.”
Along with Commissioner Arrington, they look forward to inspiring a new generation of urban farmers.

Participants can also enjoy chef demonstrations from Atlanta Culinary Creations, showcasing delicious ways to use the harvest.
