Join Mayor Peyton Jamison and members of our community at this month’s State of the City – an opportunity to reflect back and look forward to efforts to purposefully, deliberately chart the best possible future for Milton.
All are invited to City Hall on Wednesday, January 28, for this annual event. The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with appetizers, beverages, sweet treats, and fellowship with Milton residents and business leaders. Mayor Jamison will deliver his speech starting about an hour later.
This event is free and open to anyone in our greater community. Still, for planning purposes, we ask that those planning to come let us know in advance (ahead of the January 23 deadline) by emailing rsvp@miltonga.gov. Please include the names of all attendees in your message.
Every year, the State of the City offers the Mayor, other officials, and citizens an opportunity to put what’s happened in Milton and what’s to come in perspective. The 2026 edition is extra special since it falls during the City’s 20th anniversary year.
Over its two decades, Milton has become a beloved, unique community in large part due to City leaders’ steady, disciplined, focused dedication to listening to and intentionally acting in residents’ best long-term interests. On January 28, Mayor Jamison will talk about how the City will continue on this proven, community-driven path in various ways, like reimagining Deerfield, preserving greenspaces, and supporting public safety.
We hope you, your family, and friends can come to City Hall to listen, learn, and be part of the excitement on the horizon. So please RSVP today!
