Ever Wondered About Upper Roswell Road? It Doesn’t Exist Let Lower Roswell Road Keep You on Track on Your Cobb County Adventures!

Project Progress: Trail connections are underway along Rogers Bridge Road and Bell Road, making it easier for pedestrians to easily access nearby schools and Cauley Creek Park. The project includes the installation of multi-use trails along the east side of Rogers Bridge Road from Bell Road to Amberleigh Way and along Bell Road from Cauley Creek Park to Rogers Bridge Road. Crews have installed sod and mulch and applied seed and matting to areas along Bell Road, with exception to areas where construction is taking place. Multiple stormwater management features such as drop inlets, manholes, pipes, and a bioswale have been installed. The intersection of Rogers Bridge Road and Bell Road has been realigned and lowered about five feet to improve sight distance for drivers turning onto Bell Road and increase overall driver and pedestrian safety. The right turn lane from Rogers Bridge Road onto Bell Road will be widened and the portion of sidewalk on Bell Road into the Cauley Creek Park 5K trail will be constructed. Crews will also install a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at the crosswalk on Bell Road and Rogers Bridge Road. Construction is expected to be complete this summer.
