**_Call for Nominations: Esteemed Veteran of Roswell Program_** At every Mayor and City Council Meeting, Roswell proudly salutes a local hero through the “Esteemed Veteran of Roswell” program. So far, we've recognized more than 75 incredible Veterans—each one a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. Each Veteran receives an official City of Roswell proclamation and a special presentation by Mayor Kurt Wilson and the City Council during a public meeting at Roswell City Hall. Nominate a Roswell resident who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces by emailing us at communications@roswellgov.com.
