Fire Station #22 Celebrates Reopening!

In February 2025, construction officially wrapped on the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department’s Fire Station #22, located on Hollywood Road. This new facility is designed to improve response times and enhance safety for residents across Northwest Atlanta.

With a generous $6.1 million grant from the Perry Bolton Tax Allocation District (TAD), the 17,000-square-foot station replaces the original structure built in 1938. It features modern administrative offices, a living dormitory, and adequate storage for tools and fire vehicles.

They report that this investment in community safety signals a significant step forward for service in the area.
